Nokia Lumia 800 Review
Nokia Lumia 800, is one of the first phones having Windows Mobile 7 from Nokia after their deal with Microsoft. It is based on the same design of Nokia N9, and even the critics said it themselves it looks absolutely stunning. With the new Nokia Lumia 800, Nokia have taken a huge step forward by shifting their focus from Symbian OS phones to new Windows Mobile 7 phones.
The new Metro interface unique to Windows Mobile 7 OS, is something new and very innovative in smartphones, which stacks tiles of various applications on the home screen as per the likes of the user, but, I am afraid there is a "but", the new Windows Mobile 7 Metro interface, reduces the customization ability for users. It has been mainly aimed at better levels of social applications efficiency allowing users to stay in touch with friends all the time.
Nokia Lumia 800 scores better than iPhone is how really good it looks, it outclasses iPhone in a heartbeat. It is sleek and has the perfect rectangle shape with a fresh twist to looks for smartphones, and proves to the world smartphones can also be off colors other than Black and White.
When compared to iPhone, Nokia Lumia has many major faults, since its a Windows Mobile 7 OS, users cannot search Google, but are only given the option of searching using the services of Bing. One of the major drawbacks being a very faulty Twitter applications, hence creating problems for regular Twitting. Compared to the iOS the Windows Mobile 7 OS is slow, but it will be upto speed after some updates I am sure.
Nokia Lumia 800, compared to iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S II camera, is very less powered and the camera is not able to capture good pictures at all with some of the problems being not being able to focus properly and white balance being problematic. Some of the major problems being reported by many users was with Nokia Lumia 800, not using the full battery and yet showing battery low, Nokia confirmed the problem and said they will bring out a update in the starting few months of 2012
Leaving these few problems Nokia Lumia 6800 is a very good phone and its not better than iPhone yet! In future it can become even better!
