Introduction
Samsung released its latest smart phone known as Samsung Galaxy S II I9100.Samsung comes with its innovative ideas and has produced a benchmark in the market of mobile phones giving stiff competitions to other mobile phone making companies. It was released in April 2011. Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 is accompanied by Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. It works on Android Operating System v2.3 which is popularly known as Gingerbread. Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 is a complete multimedia enabled phone with rich and interesting features. The 16 GB memory phone is priced best at Rs 28,000. The 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor is the best processor in any smartphone. The Android 2.3 i.e. Gingerbread is one of the best Operating System.Samsung Galaxy S II I9100 is rich of multimedia features. The Gorilla Glass display and TouchWiz UI v4.0 is the eye catching features of this smartphone. The internal memory of this phone is 16 GB. It comes with Dual-core 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor. Samsung Galaxy S i9001 SII is of same size as Samsung Galaxy S . This 4.3” inch smartphone is lightweight which weighs only 116 g. The phone is slim and easily fits in the pocket.
Samsung Galaxy S i9001 SII comes with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen. The Gorilla Glass display is the eye catching feature of this phone. The image quality and viewing angles of this smartphone is excellent. On the top there is headset jack and USB port. There is 8 MP camera at the back of the phone. The Samsung Galaxy S i9001 SII is plastic built which is little drawback of this phone.

Samsung Galaxy S i9001 SII comes with latest Android 2.3 operating system which is Gingerbread. The user interface of this phone is very user friendly. The TouchWIz UI also add to its performance. It comes with in built task killer function which is unlike other android phones. Also it comes with 1.2GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor.

Samsung Galaxy S i9001 SII comes with Touchwiz Music player. You can also download tracks online or hear for 30 seconds. The music interface is very interesting. The video player allows you to capture High Definition videos. It also supports DivX and XviD formats. The video recording at 1080p@30fps is excellent.
Camera.
The camera is 8 MP and has features like touch focus and geotagging. The image quality best in comparison to other smarphones available in market.
Browser
The web browser of this smartphone is amazing which allows you to download and stream videos at much faster rate.

Samsung Galaxy S II can be rightly said to be the main rival currently against the iPhone. It is brilliantly designed and has amazing technology in it. The size of its screen is 4.3 inches large and it is quite larger than an iPhone. It is powered by dual core processor, and when it was released by that time, it was considered as ahead of its time, even the iPhone did not have it! It comes in only two storage options that being 16 GB and 32 GB with no option of increasing the storage through external storage options! Samsung have taken advantage of iPhone not using new technology for their touchscreen, Samsung now use on their Galaxy S II the all new Gorilla Glass, which is next to indestructible and unscratchable and hence users will not require using screen protector making the phone look really good!
Its not only on the size and speed where the Samsung Galaxy S II looks better than the iPhone, it has got a 8.0 MP camera at its back with LED flash and also the quality of the camera is quite stunning as the picture clicked are all full HD with a very high resolution and it also has features such as auto-focus, geo tagging and many more makes the camera one of the strongest points of Samsung Galaxy S II. Even in the new iPhone 4S, the quality of the camera has been improved drastically and it is capable of capturing stunning pictures and as per critics the quality of pictures from both the smartphones is nearly equally as good! Video recording on the Samsung Galaxy S II is also full HD and it is recorded at 1080p, and so the camera quality of the Samsung Galaxy S II is quite stunning!
Samsung Galaxy S II comes with both 2G and 3G connectivity and both are of superb quality. The problem with 3G in India being that the customers would have to switch back to postpaid to enjoy the features of 3G which is bad mark for the customers. It is also equipped with Wi-Fi which is of superb quality and it is able to catch lowest of the signals with relative ease compared to the iPhone. The Bluetooth is latest model of 2.1 currently in the market and it is very fast when connected with another Samsung mobile. Unlike the iPhone using the Bluetooth is a very easy thing in the Samsung Galaxy S II.
With the help of two 1.2GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor, Samsung Galaxy S II is able to take anything you throw at it, whether be it a full 1080p HD movie or a full HD game with high level of graphics, the Samsung Galaxy S II is easily able to cope up with anything. And thanks to the dual core processor, the Super-Amoled HD display works absolutely brilliantly with absolutely no sign of glitches. The display is one of the major factors for the success of Samsung Galaxy S II as the pictures and the movies when viewed on the Samsung Galaxy S II shows absolutely vibrant quality and amazing vibrant looking colors and clarity!
The new Samsung Galaxy S II has now two colour options white and black, whereas earlier there was only one option. Web Browsing in Samsung Galaxy S II is more like surfing on a PC it is so good and the options are also very good making web browsing of impeccable quality. To top it all of since the Samsung Galaxy S II is installed with the Android 2.3, it has access to nearly unlimited and thousands of apps for users to choose from and most of them being free makes it all that much better for the users.
The only major downfall of the Samsung Galaxy S II is due to the high performance features in the Samsung Galaxy S II the battery life is not at all good compared the to the iPhone and hence it can make a quite huge problems for users who dont have a travel charger with them on long trips lasting more than a day!
