Looking for a second sale car/van.Here some guidelines to examine the vehicles you are going to buy and to evaluate the rate of the car in the following premises. This article also deals with how to make a perfect deal in the second sale market. There is so many do and donts while selecting a car.
Tips to buy a best second hand car:
1)
Looks of the car/van:
Appearance of the vehicle is the best clue to us of how it has been taken care of.The appearance also shows the usage of the car.If their is lot of damage or scratches in the body of the car shows that the car is always driven with rash driving.
Rash driving of the car always give bad look.If the car look is good,it shows that is used in careful manner.
2)
Interior of the car/van:
We have to check out whether the car seat is worn out and we also have to check the carpet is free from dirt and it always clean.
We have to check the interior portion of the car like door lock, door pull lever and inner lights setting. We also have a look on tweeter and audio speakers.
2)
Break Pedal:
By checking the brake pedal, the button in the brake pedal rubber show the usage and running condition of the car.If the break pedal rubber is worn out that shows car is taken care of.
This will determines the running time of the car.Another important tips is to check the kilometers in the automobile dash board. If the car is running for more than 100000 lakh kilometer we have to deduce 30% from the current sale rate of the car.
3)
Engine Testing:
Raise the acceleration of the car and check the engine sound. We have to check the natural working of the engine.
We have to check if there is any oil leakage over the engine parts. If there is any leakage it will decreases the hp of the engine. So one has to very care while checking the engine. We have to check whether the transmission fluid is red, coolant oil is green & engine oil is black.
4)
Transmission of the car/van:
Check the efficiency of the engine by testing the transmissiommode of the car.We have to check the shuddering(vibrate violently). If there is an transmission problem we can avoid that car, because the overcome of transmission problem is very expensive.
If there is an transmission problem We can feel the vibration at a drive of 30 to 45 miles.
5)
Noise Checking:
We have to check "Is the car moving in a smooth condition without noise?"We also test if there any jerks or shake. And examine the engine power is high or low.
6)
Inspection of the car/van:
We have to inspects the recors whether the car is in legal status. We have to verify the insurance,Register Certificate and related transport certificates. You have to inspect the tire condition whether the tire is in good condition and it also satisfies button condition.
By verifying the tire condition one has to know the tire skidding and friction criteria.
Things to be remember while dealing the price of the car:
1)
Decide your Budget:
It is better to have a rough idea about the price range that you have afford to spend.Hence the budget of the car is very important. You can also increase the car rate if the renewal of the insurance, tax and permit is far away from the current date.
2)
Find the perfect car:
You have to find the right car, that car must satisfies all your need.It seems to buy a new car you can rather focus on second sale car which holds every parameter as it in fresh car
Negotiate the car rate if you also satisfies with the previous rate.We have to check the battery condition while inspecting the car.
3)
Find the model of the car/van:
Based on the car model, the car rate is decreased. We can bargain if the model of the car is less than five year.Depend upon the car model the rate of the second sale car is fixed.
So one should keep in miond about the model of the car,
4)
Proper communication with seller:
We should clear about the seller what he actually expect from us.If the proper communication is maintained between the seller/buyer then definitely we can negotiate the car prices upto 20% from the start price.
6)
Take Test Drive:
A test drive will give the total condition of the car.So its necessary to take test drive.
6)
Check some parameters of the car/van:
*Clutch Plates
*Battery lifetime
*Caurburettor flow
*Heater,Radiator,Defroster and brake flow
7)
Check some paperwork of the car/van:
*Registration Certificate Book
*Taxation book
*Insurance
*Invoice
*PUC Certificates.
