Samsung Galaxy Y is the cheapest branded android mobile available now in the market. This phone runs on android operating system android 2.3 and has a 834 MHZ processor. The phone has a very good looks and a decent performance.Even though the screen size is just 3 inches, the capacitive touch makes it nice.

Network-This is a quad band 3G phone. It works on both 2G and 3G , so users can enjoy the rich and fast speeds of 3G network. But this phone lacks a secondary camera,so video calls are not available in this phone.
Screen -It is equipped with a 3 inch tft capacitive touch screen. It is a fully touch screen mobile. This phone is of 104 x 58 x 11.5 mm dimension and it weighs only 97.5 gm.
Sound-Y supports both mp3 and wav formats. A 3.5 mm universal headphone jack is provided in this phone. The sound is loud and of good quality.
Looks -The Samsung Galaxy Y is a combination of Black and Metallic gray colors and it is also available with colored back panel options. The phone looks quite good in it's shape.
Memory-Y is equipped with an internal memory of 160 MB and can be upgraded to 32GB through the micro SD card.
Data-Y is equipped with GPRS, EDGE and 3G compatible. It also supports WiFi and Bluetooth for wireless transfer of data between other Bluetooth devices. It has a micro USB port to transfer songs and pictures to a PC or to a lap.
Camera-The phone has a 2 Mp camera and can also capture video. There is no flash for shooting in the dark. No secondary camera is provided for this phone model.

Battery-Samsung Galaxy Y comes with a high quality 1200MAh Li-ion battery and it gives a good battery life to the phone. It allows a Stand-by time for 2G network up to 850 hours and up to 540 hours for 3G network. The talk time is up to 17 hours for 2G network and up to 6 hours and 20 min for 3G network.

Advantages

Samsung galaxy y has no particular disadvantage and the features provided are good considering the price of the phone. But none of the market things comes with good qualities only , some of the problems with galaxy y are

1) The screen is too small for typing messages as the screen is only 3 inches.
2) The resolution of the screen is too less(320x240)
3) The camera provided is only 2 Mp which is too low and there is no flash.

Conclusion

When compared with some high end Samsung mobiles, the Samsung Galaxy Y S530 lags behind in various aspects, but considering the price difference, this is an amazing phone.
