Taxcel Q158 is from Taxcell Communication CO., LTD, which aims to give high quality and technology products to customers. The newly entered mobile manufacturer aims to add new elements in design to differ from other competitors. The Q-series bar type phones from Taxcell are more or less similar to one another in features. These bar phones targets the customers who are unaware or don’t know about 3G and other touch screen technology. Taxcel Q158 supports multi language. This device comes under dual SIM phone list.
Phone type and network technology: Taxcel Q158 is a bar type phone. It is a dual SIM phone with dual standby time. It operates in GSM 900 / 1800 MHz | GSM 900 / 1800 MHz.
Design and display of Taxcel Q158: The screen is 2.0 inches with QCIF Display Screen. The processor is spreadtrum chipset. The display size is 176 x 220 pixels. The phone is available five colours such as Champagne, brown, purple, black, blue and red.
Camera: 0.3MP VGA camera is present (up tp 1.3MP by software). The camera resolution is 640 x 480 Pixels. The resolution ensures quality photo and video capture. Video recording option and digital zoom facilities are available. Video player is supported in MP4, 3GP, AVI formats. Full screen play facility is present. Picture formats are supported in JPG, GIF, BMP, PNG formats.
Software: The phone supports WAP browser. Very few interesting games are preloaded in Taxcel Q158.
Call records: Missed calls, Dialed numbers, received calls are stored. The users can store good number of contacts. SMS Storage is present. The device supports hand free call and call recording. User profile can be saved in the handset.
Messaging: SMS and MMS options are present. Email or push mail options are not supported. Instant messaging option is not available. There is no preloaded you tube player, MSN.
Memory slot: The phone has good internal memory. External memory option is available. T- Flash cards are supported.
Music: Taxcel Q158 supports built in polyphonic and mp3 ringtones. User defined mp3 ring tones are also supported. FM radio (outside FM play) is present. Loud speaker option is available. Audio music is supported in mp3 formats. 2353 speaker support gives the user a very good music experience.
Battery: It supports BL-5C battery. It gives good talk time and standby time. Compatible Nokia battery, charger and earphone are supported.
Data connection: GPRS class 12 helps in data connection. Bluetooth and USB port helps in data transmission. Wireless protocol, infra red, edge options are not available.
Some more notable features: Torch Light, E-Book Reader, SIM LOCK, phone lock, calculator, calendar, Alarm, preloaded games.
Disadvantages of Taxcel Q158: Taxcel Q158 has no preloaded latest apps. Wi-Fi connections are not possible. Internet connections are not that much good when compared to other phones. The screen resolution is low. Talk time and standby time is good but it can’t competent with other mobiles. Features like Skype calling, special key for music player are not available. FM recording, call conversation recording are not present.
Advantages of Taxcel Q158: The price is affordable by all. This is a user friendly device. The size of the mobile is small and it is easy to handle in one hand.
