Nokia is about to launch it's first MeeGo running smartphone Nokia N9 with a very beautiful sleek design and powerful specifications. Read this article to know more about features and specifications of Nokia N9.

Nokia N9 is the first MeeGo based smartphone from Nokia featuring a unique curved design with 3.9 inch AMOLED display with a nice 854 x 480 resolution. First thing you will notice about the features of Nokia N9 is swipe features which allows you switch easily between screens and functions. Sadly, Nokia has not introduced any front facing buttons in Nokia N9 which may be annoying for users.

Nokia N9 is very powerful at its specifications, it is powered with 1GHz TI OMAP 3630 processor with PowerVR SGX530 graphics. Other than powerful processor and graphics Nokia N9 has also got a 1GB RAM with 16GB or 64GB of storage, a front facing camera for video calling, on rear an 8 mega pixel camera which is capable of 720p video recording. Nokia is finding his place in the world by introducing all unique features in its phone either they are NFC capabilities, all 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 GSM/EDGE bands, advanced Bluetooth or WiFi.

Nokia N9 availability is not yet fixed but it is anticipated to arrive later this year, early in 2012. Nokia N9 will be available in two colors- Black, Cyan and Magenta. However, Nokia has omitted the price and availability of Nokia N9, we are still expecting it to launch in next year.

Nokia N9 specifications are previously seen in Droid X, Pre 2 and Droid 2, it is also intriguing when it comes to specifications of Nokia N9 and quality of service that Nokia provides. MeeGo doesn't seems to be a great platform, Nokia may soon leave this platform and optionally choose Windows Phone 7. Well no one knows what Nokia is planning to do.
