In the absence of comparison, the manufacturing companies try to lure the customers to buy their products through several techniques of salesmanship like offering freebies and discounts, offering free warranties, free insurance, special exchange rates, easy EMIs from the finance companies attached to the dealers and so on. The companies indulge into this type of business techniques well knowing the fact that the products in the market differ in some feature or the other. This is especially so when the product in the market is very costly and competitive like the motor vehicles.
