Microsoft releasing NoDo update for Windows Phone 7, list of new features

Microsoft is going to roll out the new NoDo update for Windows Phone 7 in coming weeks. Here you can read all new features and improvement that are included in this new Windows Phone 7 update. Read to learn more.

Microsoft has finally begun the process of distributing the first major Windows Phone 7 devices update. This updated is coded as 'NoDo' viz. "No Donuts". This new major update for Windows Phone 7 by Microsoft brings the most awaited Copy and Paste functionality to all devices with faster game and applications performance and many more features, you can read all the implemented features below.

Earlier it was anticipated to be released in the first two weeks to March but as Microsoft was doing a massive improvement in this update so took a bit longer to prepare the whole update. There are many customers from Samsung who are excited to download this update immediately. At the same time, Microsoft is also preparing for future updates with a series of small patches.

Microsoft is doing a hard work on big software version for its Windows Phone 7 OS which is named as "Mango" and supposed to be released by end of the year 2011. This new OS will have it's own version, may be Windows Phone 7.5 which may include multi-tasking, Internet Explorer 9, SkyDrive, Twitter support with all the improvements and stability tweaks.

Copy and Paste Functionality: All Windows Phone 7 users were eagerly waiting for this update specially for copy and paste functionality in their phone which allows users to copy test from office documents, web pages, text messages etc. You can copy texts from anywhere and paste it where you want to use it.
Faster apps and games: New Windows Phone 7 NoDo update gives faster performance for games and applications as well.
New and better Marketplace search: With new update you can also see much better Windows Phone 7 marketplace which makes easier to find particular games, apps or music. Simple press search button in any section and you are ready to see the results. Searching in different sections brings different search result, it means your search results are already filtered via sections e.g. apps, games and music. Now users can also download apps which are larger than 20MB, at the same time it is now easier to upgrade trial apps to premium/paid apps using a credit card.
WiFi improvements: Microsoft has now displayed the MAC (Media Access Control) address in settings with NoDo update and also removed the limit on the number of profiles made on WiFi. Apart from these this new update also starts your phone faster even if you have lots of WiFi profiles.
Outlook improvements: Now you can see improved viewing of photo attachments which you receive from non-exchange email accounts while connecting to Exchange server 2003.
Other improvements: You will also get new messaging, facebook, camera and audio improvements with stability fixes. Now you can sync your facebook account and you can switch between camera and videos modes more easily. Microsoft has also fixed Bluetooth headset to makes calls easily while playing music.
Other performance improvements: New Windows Phone 7 NoDo update includes several softwares for phone manufacturers with performance improvements for specific models, you may get or won't get this update depending upon your phone model.

Microsoft has taken a slow step but during this update but customers are very happy via this update as it is fruitful update for all Windows Phone 7 users.
