Google just added some file format supports for Google Docs with major Microsoft office file types support. In this articles you can read the list of 12 new file formats added in Google Docs.


 

Google has added 12 new file format supports for Google Docs, Google has already quick view for PDFs, world documents and PowerPoints documents. In the meantime search engine giant Google has introduced new file types for Google Docs with major supports of Microsoft office.   • Microsoft Excel (.XLS and .XLSX)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 / 2010 (.PPTX)
  • Apple Pages (.PAGES)
  • Adobe Illustrator (.AI)
  • Adobe Photoshop (.PSD)
  • Autodesk AutoCad (.DXF)
  • Scalable Vector Graphics (.SVG)
  • PostScript (.EPS, .PS)
  • TrueType (.TTF)
  • XML Paper Specification (.XPS)
From now on, all these types of files will be shown as a 'View' link in your Gmail inbox. You can also upload these types of files in Google Docs.
