Airtel 3G Service Tariffs Details, Time Based and Flexi Shield 3G Tariff Plans

After launching its 3G service in India, Airtel has just announced the 3G tariff plans from Airtel. This article explains the Time-based plan and Flexi-shield plan from Airtel 3G.

We just reported you about Airtel 3G service and tariff plans that it is about to be launched, and here Airtel announced the 3G Tariff plans for mobile and data service. As of now it is only applicable to Bangalore and Chennai. Since Airtel has launched 3G service in India, everyone was looking rapidly for 3G tariff plans from Airtel. There was a Airtel 3G launch conference held to give an estimated list of Airtel 3G services tariffs. It is too disappointing that there is no Airtel 3G unlimited plan being offered.

As we earlier informed you that there will be two types of Airtel 3G service plan; Time-based plan and Flexi Shield Plan. Let's see what Airtel is offering to its 3G customers.

Airtel 3G Time-Based Plan

In Airtel 3G Time-based tariff plan a customer gets following offers:

Light Users: Rs.10, Rs.45 and Rs.60 recharge coupons.

Medium Users: Medium users of Aitel 3G can recharge with Rs.200, Rs.450 and Rs.750 recharge plans with 30 day validity each.

Airtel 3G Flexi-Shield Plan

Flexi-shield plan from Airtel 3G is specially made for heavy users and mostly meant for Airtel post-paid users. You can get 1.25GB worth Free 3G data usage from Airtel by recharging with Rs.650 per month, once you cross 1.25GB of data, you will be charged at 10p/MB till 14GB of data usage and Rs.2,000 bill cap. After crossing the second 14GB data usage your speed will be limited to 128kbps only.
