Google gets its new version in Android family known as Ice Cream, it will be named as Android 2.4 Ice Cream. In this article you can find information related to Google's new Android versions.

According to some sources new version of Android, can be code named as 'Ice Cream Sandwich'.

Here Google comes with a new operating system which may be leaked or not leaked Android 2.4 called as Ice Cream Sandwich. Yes, some sources says that Google is about to launch new operating system Android 2.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.

There are multiple resources over the web showing that Ice Cream is about to be announced on Google I/O 2011 conference which will be held on May 10-11 and it may launch in June or July 2011.

Some reports/rumors also shown that new version of Google's operating system can be set to Android 4.0, which makes this too confusing. So for there is no correct information that, what is the name of new Android version? We have noticed that Google is launching Android family operating systems every-time with a new letter, check it below:

D- Donut
E- Eclair
F- Froyo
G- Gingerbread
H- Honeycomb
I- Ice Cream Sandwich

It shows that Google is naming all Android family operating system alphabetically. Let's wait for any official announcement from Google.
