Motorola Unveils Cliq2 Smart Phone at CES 2011 Features and Specifications

At CES 2011, Motorola was unveiled the new Motorola Cliq2 Smart Phone. It is similar to the old Cliq with some noting updates. Motorola cliq2 is a side slider smart phone with QWERTY keyboard. The buttons of the key board connected by special components named 'honeycombs'. It does not means the phone comes with Android HoneyComb. Cliq2 comes with Android Vesion 2.2 which is a good OS with many advanced features. The Cliq2 supports UMA standard and with which it can share a signal as 3G hotspot and can use WiFi connectivity.

The technology used in Cliq2 for display is TFT LCD and not uses the famous AMOLED. The LCD display includes a proximity sensor and accelerometer. The proximity sensor enables the display to off while on a call and the accelerometer turns the screen automatically. Cliq2 has no 4G, but has WiFi . Up to now, there is no FM radio found in this phone, but the chances are there to enable it using a software. Motorola Cliq2 supports Blue tooth version 2.1.

The MOTOBLUR feature enables the user to manage the email and social networking sites like FaceBook and Twitter right from the home screen. Cliq2 also comes with several business functionalities. The Quick Office allows the user to remotely manage their documents. It also has advanced security features like remote locate and SD card wipe.

The Processor will have around 1 gigahertz speed and the standard Li-Ion battery have around six hours of talk time. The mobile will be available in a titanium hue with a smoke gray finish. No Prices are yet announced for Motorola Cliq2 which will coming to T-Mobile on January 19th.
