Toshiba Will Soon Launch Android 3.0 Honeycomb Tablet

This resource explains about the launching of new Android tablet from Toshiba. It is a 10.1 inch tablet with Android Version 3.0 HoneyComb.


 

Toshiba, the Consumer Electronics giant has announced the release of new Android tablet with Android version 3.0 HoneyComb in the CSE 2011. The new product from Toshiba is a 10.1 inch tablet and the name is not released yet. The tablet comes with the latest version of Android OS, HoneyComb. Because of the fact that HoneyComb 3.0 is not publicly released yet, the commercial release of the new tablet will delay. Android HoneyComb 3.0 is the best operating system for tablets with many advanced features.

The Toshiba Android tablet has a dual-core Tegra 2 chip with a display of 1280×800 resolution. It comes with a capacitive touch pad and has two video cameras of 5 Mega pixels and 2 Mega pixels. The latter is used for making video calls. The tablet has a slot for an SD card, a mini USB and a normal USB jack and HDMI. The replaceable back cover is resistant to spill and is rubberized. On the downside, it weighs about 1.7 pounds which is a little bigger than weight of iPad(1.6 pounds). Except this, all the other features and specification looks good and will help Toshiba to increase the sale in Tablet market.
