Dell Venue Launches Globally

Dell unveils their much rumoured droid handset Dell Venue globally just after a week of Korea only launch. Dell will not launch lots of handsets, but whatever the firm produces it will be classy and superior with its features and specifications. The same case happens with Dell Venue formerly known as Dell Thunder.

Dell Venue Smartphone looks like its precursor Dell Venue pro a WP7 phone with a QWERTY keypad. But the latest Venue drops the key pad and accepted Android Froyo 2.2 inside instead of WP7. But it uses the same Gorilla screen display and retains 8 MP camera.

Dell Venue packs 4.1-inch AMOLED display covered with scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass and also has its own customized interface called the Stage UI. The Gorilla Glass is a definite plus and wins points on the first look. Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, Multi-touch input method, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off; these are the other features makes this display, one of the best available in the market .The display is of 480 x 800 pixels with 16M colours support.

Camera of Dell Venue

Dell venue boasts an autofocus 8 MP camera of 3264x2448 pixels with LED flash along with Features like Geo-tagging, face detection with HD video recording at 720p. This camera offers a clarity that beats that of Sony Ericsson Vivaz which is a popular camera handset.

Multimedia features of Dell Venue

The Dell venue comes with buggy Android Froyo 2.2 and it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor. It has got a 512 MB RAM and a 1GB ROM. Memory can be upgraded till 32GB via a Microsd card. Practically unlimited entries fields and photo can make with its phone book. Call records area also practically unlimited.

The Dell Venue supports 2G network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and 3G Network HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100, HSDPA 900 / 2100.It have class 12 GPRS/EDGE and 3G- HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps. WLAN is WIFI 802.11 b/g, underline 802.11 n is not in its configuration (but not pretty bad). It feature Bluetooth with A2DP and EDR, but no infrared port (this is not at all its con, you can do with whatever you can perform with infrared).It supports Micro USB 2.0 too.
