Recently Samsung has announced the release of the World's smallest Laser Printer called 'SCX 3201'. This printer can print, copy and scan documents. So it can do three functions. This printer also has the "Print Screen" and "Eco print" buttons. The "Eco Print" will allow you to print double sided and at 600 dots per inch.

The Samsung SCX 3201 printer has 32 MB of memory, Toner Saver mode and can print around 5000 pages. The size of the Samsung SCX 3201 Laser Printer is 388 mm X 299 mm X 234 mm. This is a USB powered printer and can print at upto 1200 dpi resolution and there is a soft power button to lower the power consumption. The Samsung SCX 3201 can print approximately 17 pages per minute. This printer from Samsung is also very light weight and weighs 7.4 Kgs. and can be purchased in Indian market for just Rs.8900. It comes with a standard one year warranty and if you want additional 2 year extension of warranty, it can be bought for Rs.499.

The Samsung SCX 3201 printer also does not make much noise and generates only 49 dBA of noise level while it is printing. This is just less than a gentle hum of a running refrigerator.

There is a software called AnyWeb Software which is supplied along with the Samsung SCX 3201 printer. It is possible for you to select, drag and drop content from different web pages onto a single printable scrap board in your browser window while surfing internet and print it as a single page.
