Viewsonic's 7 and 10 inch Android Tablet

Viewsonic is a very well known brand for PC monitors and recently it entered in market of tablets. The first Viewsonic tablet is named ViewPad 10 comes with a 10 inch screen size with 1024x600 pixel screen resolution, which is a very good typical size. Processor of Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab was ARM but Viewsonic has unveiled its tablet with Intel Atom processor at 1.66GHz. Viewsonic ViewPad 7 is an Android tablet focused on customers to provide cheap Android tablets.

Viewsonic's ViewPad 10 comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB flash based storage and runs Google Android operating system. Google Android for tablets has given more quality to it. ViewPad 10 is also compatible to run Windows 7 due to its X86 based processor. As of now it comes with older version of Google's operating system Android 2.1, with Android Market applications store. Usually Android tablet always comes preloaded with Android market application store.

You can also increase the memory by microSD card. There is also a 1.3 Mega-pixel camera for video conferencing and the biggest advantage is that it doesn't support 3.5G Internet connectivity. Price of ViewPad 10 is $629.

Second model of Viewsonic tablet is ViewPad 7 which runs the latest Android 2.2 operating system with 3.5G Internet connectivity. It is just like the screen size of Samsung Galaxy Tab. It has a 3 mega-pixel camera at the back for taking picture and gives a battery life of 10 hours. Price of ViewPad 7 is $479.
