Samsung water powered battery for mobile phones works with micro fuel cells in the mobile phone.

Samsung Water Powered Mobile Phone

Samsung water powered battery for mobile phones is one of the innovative idea in 2010. It is a new micro fuel cell that produces electricity due to the mechanism between hydrogen and oxygen. They can generate up to 3 watts of electricity. The working principle of the device is just like this: The mobile metal and water inside the phone reacts to produce hydrogen gas when the phone is switched on. This hydrogen gas reacts with oxygen in the air to produce electricity plus water. According to Samsung technicians, the battery will last for 10hours. This is almost double the battery life of traditional mobile phones.
