Now days, when desktops are being replaced with laptops, all manufacturers are having business laptops in their categories. If we take examples of Dell, it has the Dell Vostro and Dell Latitude series which is aimed for business only. Then there is also HP Probook business laptops and so on in other manufacturers.
Let's have look at what things should be remembered while buying a business laptop.

For any business laptop build quality and the durability is the most important thing. Now days, there are a lot of choices available for the solid build quality and light in weight laptops with good performance where you are save your money and can buy a good business laptop. While buying, make sure that build quality, performance and features are good of that laptop so it will never let you go down.

Security of Business Laptops


Apart from good performance of business laptop security is the another major point of any business laptop. Now days the laptops are using high technology for giving the more security to the users and giving the access controls like finger print scanners, face recognition which is most common in business laptops. Dell, HP and Lenovo are also providing the TPM (Trusted Platform Module) features which lets you encrypt your data on the drive and makes it inaccessible from other users.

It is important to look deeply at the features of business laptops. There should be at least 3 USB ports for reliability and also should have an eSATA port. Other ports are also important like VGA ports for projector, HDMI port for connecting HD projectors and memory card reader which is very common now. Now days, business laptops are coming with a resolution of 1366x768, but if you are spending a big amount look for even more resolution. Resolutions are often different in the same model.
Also have a look at the connectivity in business laptops like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet, where some laptops are also supporting 3G now.

Portability of Business Laptops


All business laptops should be portable so that you can carry that easily. People who want to work at their laptops and need to carry it then it is good to go for a 12 inch or 14 inch ultra portable laptop. Many of the business users are carrying a laptop near 3kg with 15 inch laptop but it will not be more reliable to carry it for a longer time. Shoulders can bear up to 2.5kg of weight for travelling. There are also some laptops like Sony Vaio X series which gives ultra portable laptops up to 1.6kg.

Performance of Business Laptops


All the different users are having the different requirements like someone need battery life and someone need more power to the laptop. It is as simple as if you choose a powerful processor then it will come with a graphic chip and also with a good battery life. Ultra voltage processors are offering very good backup but they are much weaker in the performance. So, it's better to go on your need and buy accordingly.

If you are attached to entertainment industry and buying the laptop for photo editing and designing purpose then go for any HD playback supporting laptop which is running on any powerful processor like Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor. This should be sufficient to do all type of works.
