Xperia X10 Getting Update by end of September

Sony Ericsson has confirmed that its high-end phone Xperia X10 getting update to Android 2.1. Update will be released worldwide between 20th to 26th September. As Sony Ericsson announced earlier that its phone Xperia X10 will be getting update to Android 2.1 in end of Q3.
However, it cannot be said that this is a very big update from Sony Ericsson as there already a big number of phones running on Android 2.2, but if we look at Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 it is a big update for it, as its updating from Android 1.6 to Android 2.1. Here are some features that will be included in the update package:

Android 2.1 (Eclair) Operating System
Live Wallpapers
Updated Timescape and Mediascape
HD Video Recording
More support to Android Applications

Now, when Xperia X10 is getting update to Android 2.1, users are looking forward for the Android 2.2, which gives more compatibility and rich experience than Android 2.1.
Other problem will also be removed such as in-call low volume problems and freeze. So the users of Xperia X10 are now waiting for the next update to Android 2.2 after getting this update.
