 Toshiba's latest W100 Libretto is the world's first Windows dual-touch-screen laptop with a weight of 819g. W100 has two 7-inch wide multi-touch screens. The model is both a combination of mobile and state of art computing which is priced at Rs. 75,000. The best part for which Toshiba is to be praised is the way they have managed to split Windows 7 OS across two displays vertically. It has a large sized onscreen keyboard which ranges from 3-line,4-line and split QWERTY configuration with a number pad. The user can drag content form one screen to the other.
W100 has certain drawbacks too like it has a battery backup of 4 hours only. It has a mono-speaker which is not that powerful and with its price it will not be as common as ipad or netbook. |
