 Nissan ultimately hit the car market in India with their launch of the Micra hatchback. Three versions of the car is now available and the price is Rs 3.98 lakh for the base XE version, Rs 4.69 lakh for the mid-level XL, and Rs 5.28 lakh for the fully featured XV version. All these prices are Ex showroom at Delhi. With this price tag, the Micra will compete with the 1.2-litre small hatchbacks of Rs 4-lakh-price tagged like the Hyundai i10, the Chevrolet Beat and the Maruti Suzuki Ritz.
Features of different variants of Nissan Micra:
All variants have been provided with a driver side airbag. The base XE version is absolutely basic, even with no wheel covers, no tachometer, no parcel shelf, no music system, no power windows, no central locking, no ABS and no fog lamps. Sadly enough, seats are also not the same.
The mid level XL is equipped with power windows front and rear. It also comes with a music system, remote keyless entry and also includes a tachometer.
The XV, the costliest one is really premium and is provided with intelligent key with push button ignition, fog lamps, climate control and electrically adjustable mirrors. It is also loaded with front passenger airbag and ABS, EBD and brake assistance.
