Where can I find remote control for Philips Home theater system |

Hi friends,
I would like to know where can I get a remote control for my Philips Home Theater system. I have a Home theater system which was purchased 2 years ago. Now the remote control is not working and it has become useless. I tried to get the remote control for the home theater control but could not get it any where. I tried it in Hyderabad, chennai and bangalore but no use.
If any one can help me to get a remote control for my Philips home theater system, I will he greatful to you.

Philips company should be able to help. Sometimes, remote control of other models of Philips also works. I have seen this in TV sets. One more idea is universal remote. You can try one also. Best of luck.

Friend, in most shops you can find duplicate remote controls.
probably you can get a similar kind of remote in china electronics.
Search some leading electronics in your city and inquiry them.

thank you for your reply. I would like to know what is universal remote. Where can I get it. Please let me know. I have tried to get a remote from many shops in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai but could not get a remote for my home theater system. Remotes are available for TVs but not for home theaters. Please help me with more details of univesal remote.
